With bitterness from the coffee beans
It was in the middle of the 15th century in the Middle East that the first evidence of knowledge of Qahwa was found. Qahwa was the first name given to Arabic coffee. It is a derivative of the word Qahiya – “to lack hunger”, as it was often drunk to suppress appetite. The 1528 Qahwa gin is an original dry gin based on Costa Rican coffee beans. This is something spectacular with an intense flavour and with just the right amount of bitterness from coffee beans and a hint of cacao. Just like the Cacao gin, the Qahwa gin is 5 times distilled au bain-marie, traditionally in authentic copper alembics.
