St. Lucia Distillers was born in 1972 from fusion of two distilleries on te island. Its international recogniion is due in large part to Laurie Barnard, director of the distillery for four decades. With its four stills, three pot stills and one column, in addition to their savoir-faire of aging and blending St. Lucia produces a fine collection of traditional rums including Chairman’s Reserve and Admiral Rodney, two legendary signatures of the group. This bottling was selec ted for the collection of La Maison du Rhum, which reunites exceptional products from the most reputable distilleries in their respectives countries.
Open one the nose with citrus aroma. Immediate impression of smoothyness and sweet spices in mouth evolving to dried vanilla, orange marmelade notes. Long finish with subtil aromas of liquorice.
