Double Aged

This Summum Sauternes Cask Finish is double aged. After the blend has matured in white oak casks, it is finished in sweet wine casks from the renowned cellar Chateau d’Arches in the region of Sauternes France. After around 9 months in the casks, the aromas of the rum is mixed with notes of the Sauternes wine sweetness, becoming a very drinkable spirit, appropriate for both novices and connoisseurs.

Nose: Soft with hints of vanilla, walnuts, honey and cooked fruits.

Palate: Elegant and slightly hints of syrup. The sweetness comes from the combination of the flavors of French and American oak.

Did you know? Sauternes is a French sweet wine from the Sauternais region of the Graves Section in Bourdeaux. Sauternes is comprised of Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadelle grapes.
