Mauritius 2014 comes from the Chamarel rum distillery which is renowned to produce one of the best rums of the island in addition to its hospitable Mauritian welcome. It is the younger distillery of the country, inaugurated in 2008, and produces French style rum from pure sugar cane juice sourced from their own sugar cane fields. This rum matured in virgin French oak casks, red wine casks and Cognac casks and was finished in Oloroso and Single Malt whisky casks. Mauritius 2014 and is limited to 8.429 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Nose: Opens up on fruity notes.
Palate: A bold attack with notes of cooked fruits, cereals, smooth spices and precious wood.
Finish: Long and pleasant finish with notes of smooth spices and burnt caramel.

The journeys make up the palace - Venezuela, Guatemala, Colombia, Trinidad and Tobago, Guadeloupe, Martinique, Saint Lucia, Reunion - embark on a real cruise of taste discoveries. To present its collection, the Maison has chosen to call on a rum enthusiast and collector of old labels as a source of inspiration for the packaging of its bottles.
